This was inspired by one of the questions at bronycon. Someone, at the voice actors pannel, asked the MLP cast what kind of music would their characters most likely listen to. Nicole Oliver answered that Celestia would probably listen to classic 80's heavy metal. I instantly had this image of Celestia waving her awesome mane to the sound of some sweet metal carved in my cerebral cortex and I knew I had to do this. (truestory.jpg) So here it is finally.

It took me much longer to make this than I had originally anticipated, mainly due to her mane and tail consisting of an immense ammount of curves and fiddling around with them.

And speaking of her mane I wanded to make it resemble those crazy haristyles of 80's glam metal band members

I've tried to make the leather jacket she's wearing look like a classic Perfecto leather jacket, which was very popular among heavy metal fans, but I guess it was more like the 90's style. More suitng for 80's would be blue jeans, white sneakers and a jean vest with bunch of band tags on it, but I thought it would look rather silly (like Lyra in pants ). Also I wasn't quite convinced how she would look 100% glam (and I'm not so familiar with this style either), soI went the leather way - leather jacket and steel cap boots (and flannel shirt, buck yea ).

I think I'll add some sound system with beastly speakers so that it actually looks like she's listening to music, but that's future stuff.
And if you're curious, there are some silly WIPs in my scrapbook.
(There may be none untill I actually add them there. I can't fiddle with the time, I'm not the Doctor, think 4th dimensionally )

And speaking of future stuff I have this one idea (related to ponies) that I'd like to expand on but that'll stay a secret for a while (not that I have any subscribers who watch my stuff anyway, so it'll probably go unnoticed - forever alone mode: ON)

Ów wektor zainspirowany został jednym z pytań na bronyconie. Na jednym z paneli, ktoś z widowni zadał pytanie aktorom jakiej muzyki słuchałyby ich postaci. Nicole Oliver odpowiedziała, że Celestia najprawdopodobniej słuchałaby klasycznego heavy metalu z lat 80. Od razu w mojej korze mózgowej wypalił się obraz Celestii moshującej jej wspaniałą grzywą (jak ja nie lubię tego słowa ) do jakiegoś zajebiaszczego metalu. Po prostu wiedziałem, że muszę to zrobić (truestory.jpg). Więc oto i ów twór mojej chorej wyobraźni.

Wykonanie tego zajęło mi znacznie więcej czasu niż pierwotnie zakładałem, głównie z powodu jej grzywy (ugh, znowu to słowo ) i ogona, które zawierają w sobie masakryczną ilość krzywych, które musiałem ręcznie poustawiać.

Mówiąc już o jej... grzywie (bleee) chciałem żeby przypominała te szalone fryzury członków zespołów glam metalowych.

Co do design'u to próbowałem żeby jej kurtka przypominała kurtkę Perfecto (w Polsce bardziej znana jako Ramoneska), która była bardzo popularna wśród fanów muzyki heavy metalowej, ale raczej było to bardziej w latach 90. Do lat 80 bardziej by pasowały klasyczne niebieskie jeansy, białe adidasy i jeansowa kamizelka z mnóstwem naszywek różnych zespołów. Ale przez te spodnie wyglądałaby trochę śmiesznie (niczym Lyra w spodniach ). Nie byłem też do końca przekonany jakby wyglądała całkowicie w stylu glam (no i dochodzi jeszcze fakt, że nie do końca jestem zaznajomiony z tym stylem), także odziana została w skórzaną kurtkę i glany (i flanelową koszulę ).

Myślę, że dodam później jakiś sprzęt grający z wielkimi głośnikami, żeby wyglądało na to, że rzeczywiście słucha jakiejś muzyki, ale to należy do przyszłości.
I jeśli kogoś to interesuje to jest parę WIPów w moim scrapbooku.
(Może ich tam jeszcze nie być bo muszę je tam faktycznie wrzucić. Nie potrafię majstrować przy czasie, nie jestem Doktorem, myśl 4-wymiarowo )

Mówiąc zaś o przyszłości, to mam pewien pomysł (związany z poniaczami), który będę chciał rozwinąć, ale narazie nie zdradzę co to może być (nie żeby ktoś mnie i moje bidne rzeczy tu obserwował, śledził czy jak to się tam nazywa, co i tak zapewne zostanie niezauważone - forever alone mode: ON)

Także tego, komentarze a zwłaszcza konstruktywna krytyka zawsze mile widziana! Ja uciekam, Lyra próbuje zabrać mi moje dłonie bo nazwałem jej spodnie śmiesznymi.
